Biography
Hi! I am Latrisha Robinson, and I am a 2nd-year Ph.D. student. My Ph.D. will be in Applied Social and Cultural Psychology. I moved to Miami, Florida from South Jersey in 2021.
Academic Background
I hold a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from New Jersey City University, where I graduated with honors. Then I pursued a Master's in Clinical Psychology, which gave me a tremendous amount of research and internship experience. My current Ph.D. work focuses on reproductive health, but specifically infertility and perceptions of infertility of men and women. Additionally, I research maternal health with FIU's Women's and Gender Studies Black Mother's Care Plan.
Professional Experience
Throughout my academic career, I have been involved in various research projects and assistantships. My roles have allowed me to present my work at conferences nationally and internationally. Additionally, I have been able to mentor students and assists with creating research projects from beginning to end. The skills I have aquired allowed me to work in different settings from community organizations to hospital settings.
